2018 Audi RS5 Electric Turbo Sound Specs Exhaust System

Review

The second generation of the A5 was launched in 2016 and with it the new 2018 Audi RS5, which was revealed earlier this year. Like the normal version, the 2018 Audi RS5 is based on the MLB Evo chassis. This means it is much stiffer than its predecessor, lighter and has a lower center of gravity. The 2018 Audi RS5 also features a new quattro all wheel drive, a new engine and a whole new look. As before, the car will be available in coupe and five doors. The convertible will probably be available at a later date.

Exterior and Interior

The test car that we see on these images is not representative of the final model. It has an S5 body with strange and strange wheel arch extensions. The front grille will change the chrome bars of the sportier honeycomb grille used in the 2018 Audi RS5 coupe. It is likely that the 2018 Audi RS5 will be closer to the ground and will offer a deeper front bumper with a prominent quattro brand. At the rear, the huge oval tailpipes are visible and look like the exhaust systems of other Audi RS models. The rear bumper will be taken directly from the 2018 Audi RS5 coupe and will include a more pronounced diffuser between the exhaust. The 2018 Audi RS5 sportback will have swollen bumps compared to the S5 to allow a wider track and better cornering grip.

The interior of the 2018 Audi RS5 sportback should be identical to that of the coupe, with the exception of the addition of the rear doors and more legroom for the rear passengers. The flat bottomed steering wheel and RS badges remind you of the car’s immense performance, while details such as contrasting red stitching, carbon fiber trim and Alcantara at certain points of contact allow the cabin to to feel elegant A special version of the Audi Virtual Cab RS will be installed in place of traditional dials that display vital car information, satellite navigation instructions or performance. Buyers will also receive the company’s MMI Plus infotainment system, which features Bluetooth connectivity and a WiFi wireless access point, to entertain children on long trips.

Engine

Fans of the latest 2018 Audi RS5 may regret the absence of a guttural V8 engine, but the new 2.9 liter dual turbo 2018 Audi RS5 V6 offers more power and torque than the outgoing 2018 Audi RS5. It will reach 100 km/h of rest with a 3.9 second supercar bait and will reach a top speed of 155 km/h or 250 km/h if it pays an extra performance package. The only transmission option is the 2018 Audi RS5 coupe eight speed automatic quick change transmission, combined with the Audi quattro all wheel drive system for tremendous grip and traction. Adjustable dampers will also feature an announcement that will allow buyers to choose between a softer or stiffer suspension, depending on whether they are on a B road or on their daily commute.

Price and Release Date

The second generation 2018 Audi RS5 coupe has been on sale for nine months in Europe, but it is only now that US buyers have the opportunity to get one. The second generation 2018 Audi RS5 was finally offered for sale in the United States at an initial price of $ 69,900 (excluding destination charges of $ 975).
