Brutally powerful and obscurely extravagant, the 2019 Lamborghini Aventador is not a burden for reality. Crazy, expensive and crazy, he is able to deliver incredible performances without the feeling that he will turn into a refreshing ditch in a supercar. Available in coupe version (for the moment), it is equipped with a V-12 engine of 6.5 liters and 730 horsepower, a 7 speed automatic transmission and an all wheel drive. For the latter, Superveloce has 740 hp and a maximum speed of 217 mph. In our tests, it was 0-60 mph in 2.7 seconds.
Exterior and Interior
While the first prototype appeared to be almost identical to the existing Model S, launched for the 2018 model year, some clues point to a better model. One could say that the most important of all was visible at the back, where the supercar had two extra tailpipes. The exits have been mounted higher on the body, where the license plate should be, which is very similar to the positioning seen in Performant Huracan. The latest prototype leaves no doubt, since it has a ridiculous amount of aerodynamic bits. Like the high performance Huracan, this 2019 Lamborghini Aventador has a multilevel front bumper with great bobbins on every corner, extra vents in the nose on the wheel arches, and a more aggressive front fascia in general. The same goes for the side panels. The side skirts are larger than normal, as are the rear fender vents. In fact, they are simply huge and their size says a lot about what’s going on under the hood.
But really interesting things are happening behind, with a massive diffuser mounted under the fascia. The large vertical slats remind me of race cars in their own right, while the large openings suggest that the engine needs a lot of cooling. The design of the exhaust is similar to that of the Hurricane Performant, with the large tubes placed in the central section, separated by another entrance. The taillights remain unchanged, but that’s not surprising. Then there is the wing, which is huge and adopts a strange design. And oddly enough, I mean no Lambo has ever had such a device, with poles carrying a L. Lamborghini uses the complex shape design usually standard uprights for his wings, but he just starts from the edge to outside the main wing, it goes down a little and moves diagonally towards the center of the shed. It is radically different from the Performant Hurricane, which means that Lambo is working on even more extreme aerodynamics for this car. All these new aerodynamic features, including the bumper, diffuser, side flaps and fenders, are probably made of carbon fiber to reduce at least a hundred pounds 2019 Lamborghini Aventador standard S. There is no indication of what we can find inside. In addition to offering the standard 2019 Lamborghini Aventador, it is reasonable to assume that will benefit from performing all the updates received the supercar in 2017. The new features include a new set of digital instruments, the Ego mode and the connectivity. Apple carplay. In addition to this, you should get some of the new features seen in Performant Huracan. For starters, many elements will be replaced by the company’s “composite forged” alloy, made of cut carbon fibers and resin. Lambo used this material for air conditioning ducts, finned gears, door handles and the center console in the hurricane, so it is safe to assume that we should see similar parts in the 2019 Lamborghini Aventador performing. Like any supercar prepared for the track, almost all surfaces will be wrapped in black Alcantara. However, the contrasting seams and optional “Y” graphics for the seats will add a splash of color. From a technology perspective, the digital display will be updated to include information about the ALA system, which will include the Lambo Telemetry feature in the standard package.
With the high performance nameplate adding extra power and torque to the hurricane, it’s safe to assume that it will do the same with the 2019 Lamborghini Aventador. However, the Aventador Performante must not only be more powerful than the standard model, but also be above the SuperVeloce in terms of performance. Given the increase observed in Performant Hurricane, I expect the 2019 Lamborghini Aventador to produce about 765 horsepower and 530 pounds of spin. This would result in an increase of 35 horsepower and 21 pounds on the Aventador S and a 25 horsepower increase on the SV model. It may not look much brighter, but the new 6.5 liter V-12 engine will be backed by a series of weight saving features that will reduce the car’s idle weight by around 100 pounds. As a result, it should be able to reach 60 mph from a standing start in 2.7 seconds, two tenths faster than the standard model. At the same time, the Performante will be a tenth of a second faster than the SuperVeloce. The extra power should also use a new chassis configuration, a revised suspension system with all that is stiffer and ventilated carbon and cross drilled carbon brakes.
