A prototype has been detected for the open cast version of the 2020 Aston Martin DBS Superleggera, which replaces Vanquish of Aston Martin. The last tester was seen outside Aston Martin’s AMR performance center at the Nürburgring, and the video below features images of high speed tests on the German circuit itself. To be called 2020 Aston Martin DBS Superleggera, the car looks a lot like the DB11 Volanteon, which is based, although its face is completely different, characterized by a much larger grille and lower vents. The hood is also unique and the vents here are bigger than what you have in the DB11.
Exterior and Interior
However, the car will not be known as Vanquish, as has been previously considered. It will probably be called 2020 Aston Martin DBS Superleggera. The new title, in addition to the June 2018 discovery date, has been confirmed by Aston Martin in the last 30 days. Although the different testers look like the DB11, a closer look reveals a wider grille, a smaller hood, distinctive front and rear lights, and a much more vertical tail. The 2020 Aston Martin DBS Superleggera is also placed reduced to the DB11, and its wheels are larger than the 20 inch DB11. On the back, four exhaust tips modify the double end design of the DB11.
Underneath the carbon fiber skin is Aston Martin’s latest extruded and attached aluminum platform, which debuted on the DB11 and takes into account its appearance on the Vantage. In the 2020 Aston Martin DBS Superleggera, anticipate that the changes are going well, the location being focused on Super GT performance. The 2020 Aston Martin DBS Superleggera should also use exclusive chassis modifications. Everything must be called up to a certain extent in relation to the DB11, from suspension to stability and wheel, wheel and brake traction configurations. Take a look at the wheels of some prototypes to discover important tweezers that bite huge clay discs.
Power can come from Aston Martin’s 5.2 liter twin fuel V-12. The engine delivers 630 horsepower in the new DB11 AMR, but we expect a lot more in the 2020 Aston Martin DBS Superleggera. Keep in mind that the main competitor of the car is probably the 789 hp Ferrari 812 Superfast. Other goals include the Mercedes Benz AMG S65 coupe and the Bentley Continental GT Speed. Inside, the points are different from those found in DB11. The cover of the musical instrument is new and the seats and steering wheel are new. There also seems to be a new touch control in the heart stack. In addition to the Superleggera DBS, four models are expected in Aston Martin’s Second Century program. The next four will likely be an SUV in 2019, a mid-engined supercar in 2020 and two Lagonda models that will appear at the end of 2022. There could also be limited edition models such as Valkyrie and the Rapid MI electric.
Price and Release date
Look for the 2020 Aston Martin DBS Superleggera as a 2020 model, early 2019. And fans of the Vanquish name should not be saddened because Aston Martin has not yet retired. We will see it in the supercar of the central engine.
